This policy explains how SellYourCompanyData LLC ("SellYourCompanyData.com", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website, and how we handle business records we process for the companies we work with.
Information we collect on this website
- Estimates. Your answers to the estimate questions are processed in your browser and are not stored unless you submit a request for a call.
- Forms you submit. When you request a call, request a data brief or send a message, we collect what you enter, such as your name, work email, company, role, phone number and message, along with the estimate details you chose to include.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to operate and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

- To comply with law and enforce our terms
We do not sell the personal information you submit on this website or use it for targeted advertising. We share intake answers with prospective buyers only when you agree to it.
Business records we process for clients
When a company engages us, we process its business records as its service provider under a written agreement, solely to de-identify them and prepare them for licensing as that company directs. That agreement governs those records. Only de-identified records are licensed to buyers.
Our de-identification commitment
We maintain de-identified data in de-identified form. We do not attempt to re-identify it, and we contractually require every recipient to make the same commitment and to impose it on anyone they share the data with.
If you believe information about you appears in records we have processed, contact privacy@sellyourcompanydata.com. We will investigate and respond in writing.
Who we share information with
- Service providers who help us run the site and our business, such as website hosting and form handling, email, and calendar scheduling, under contracts that limit their use of the information
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality duties
- Prospective buyers, under confidentiality terms, when you submit a seller intake and agree that we may share it to get offers
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- A successor, if our business is reorganized or sold, subject to this policy
How long we keep it
We keep website inquiries for as long as needed to respond and maintain a business relationship, and then delete them, generally within 24 months of our last contact. Raw client exports are deleted after delivery, as described in our client agreements.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@sellyourcompanydata.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption, access controls and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International visitors
We are based in the United States, and information you submit is processed in the United States.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
